About Us
We are Dr. Dražen Tutić and Dr. Ulrike Kellermann, former professors of cartography and geoinformatics in Zagreb, Croatia, and Bochum, Germany.
Over the 25 years of our academic careers, we have gained extensive experience in cartography and geoinformatics through numerous publications, long-standing involvement in academia and professional societies, and participation in national and international research projects. In 2018, we met while working on an international project, fell in love, and during the coronavirus pandemic, changed our lives—we quit our jobs and started a new chapter. Today, we live on a hill next to a forest near Ivanić-Grad, where we work as cartographers and produce our own food.
Over the past few years, we have worked as freelancers for clients around the world, including the USA, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, and beyond. We have created, for example, maps for Prospect Park in New York, Phoenix Park in Dublin (https://camperdown.co/), and Forest Park in Portland (https://fouragers.com/). It was, therefore, a natural step for us to start our own business, North2South, in April 2025 by creating a detailed map of Maksimir Park.
In addition to this map, we designed and created the innovative educational puzzle Kartoznalac, as well as various souvenirs and models highlighting the industrial and historical heritage of Ivanić Island. Our newest products are 3D-relief models created from cardboard, displaying the topography of Croatian islands, cities, and national parks uniquely.
Together, we combine expertise, creativity, and a passion for cartography to develop unique educational and tourist products.
